Osteotomy Fixation Staples, made of cobalt chrome, are used as interim fixation devices for the correction of varus or valgus deformities in high tibial osteotomies. The staples help retain the cut surfaces in the desired degree of apposition and alignment until healing has occurred. These staples are advised for the treatment of gonarthrosis in valgus or varus.
