About Us
A-Z Ortho is the pre-owned equipment division of MPR Orthopedics, a seller and manufacturer of quality orthopaedic products for more than 25 years.
Since 1991, MPR has been selling and manufacturing quality orthopaedic, arthroscopy and med/surg products at a cost savings for our customers. Drawing on our 25+ years of working with physicians, hospitals, clinics and leading manufacturers, MPR has grown from its small office beginnings to today’s warehouse and sales operations located across multiple states. However, the commitment to quality and customer care has never changed.
A-Z Ortho grew out of this commitment to service, as customers have continued to ask for assistance in finding legacy, time-proven orthopaedic products from the industry’s many manufacturers. By acquiring excess inventories from hospitals and surgery centers, A-Z Ortho offers an extensive selection of current and discontinued instruments and implants. We carry tens of thousands of pre-owned items, from Ace to Zimmer and every company in between.
At A-Z Ortho, we understand that “pre-owned” is sometimes the “preferred” solution for our customers. We have the big-box names in our inventory list, plus the personal service to help you find what you want.

Breadings Cigar Store, Warsaw, IN
MPR owner, Michael Holloway will tell you that he received his B.S. from Breadings Cigar Store. Michael worked at Breadings when he was in high school. His step-father Ray Deafenbaugh was a part owner for awhile. Although no longer in business, Breadings will long be remembered by many.
A little history on Breadings...
In the 1920s, Robert Breading Sr. and his son Lewis started Breadings Cigar Store in a two story wood frame building at 114 E. Center street on the east side of the alley. The business then moved into its current location in 1950 at 116 E. Center Street. The Breading's store was a popular gathering place for breakfast and lunch. Dominoes was such a favorite pastime there that tournaments were held. Opening at 5:00 a.m. and not closing sometimes untill 2:00 a.m. the next morning, Breadings quickly became known as the place to call or stop by for the latest news and sporting event updates. When the Moose, Eagles, Elks, and other lodges closed after midnight, Breadings was where everyone went for an early morning breakfast. The Breadings men sold the business to Ray Deafenbaugh and Sam Holbrook in 1954, and Dick Heagy joined the business in 1955. Dick Kehoe was a partner for a short time. Burleigh Burgh bought Kehoe's interest in 1959, and when Deafenbaugh and Heagy decided to sell their interest in 1974, Burgh bought Heagy's one third interest and Craig Smith bought Deafenbaugh's interest. Although not open late at night like years ago, Breadings continues to be a favored downtown meeting place. The annual Breadings Christmas party "packs the house" and one can still stop by for an occasional game of dominoes.

Ask one of our account representatives about trading in your current item for product credit to purchase other items. Trading in your used equipment is a great way to reduce the cost of purchasing something else, and it relieves your facility from dealing with storage and handling of the unused product.
To help us be the most responsive to your trade-in inquiry, please have the manufacturer and part number information of your excess inventory ready, and perhaps be ready to supply a photo.
