Sometimes called Mueller or Mueller-type Femoral Retractor or Elevator. Part of the DePuy Anterior Approach Kit that was designed to facilitate the Anterior Smith-Peterson approach. Instruments included in the kit enable acetabular and femoral exposure. May be used with rod/weight system that is implemented through holes in handle.
