Herbert Bone Screws feature short thread lengths and small diameters for optimum fixation of very small bone fragments. Headless screws can be inserted through articular cartilage and buried below bone surface to avoid interface with articulation or soft tissue. Leading threads penetrate bone faster than trailing threads, slowing penetration, reducing and compressing fragments during insertion.
Various sizes and styles available.
