Description
The Aesculap BH167R is a delicate curved Crile hemostatic forceps designed for clamping small blood vessels and controlling bleeding during surgical procedures.
The defining feature of a Crile clamp is the presence of full-length serrations along the jaws, providing consistent grip across the entire length. The curved configuration allows improved access around anatomical structures.
The delicate (lightweight) construction makes this instrument particularly suited for:
- Fine vascular work
- Precise hemostasis in smaller fields
- Handling delicate tissue without excessive force
The ratchet mechanism allows the clamp to maintain pressure without continuous hand force.
