Additional Info

  • Unit of Measurement: Each

Description

The Stryker 703553 bone tap is an orthopedic thread-cutting instrument used to prepare bone for screw insertion.

The threaded tip is designed to:

  • Cut internal threads into pre-drilled bone holes
  • Allow easier and more accurate screw placement
  • Reduce insertion torque and prevent bone damage

This instrument is used after drilling and before screw insertion in many orthopedic procedures.

Unlike screws:

  • It cuts threads, not just occupies them
    Unlike drills:
  • It does not remove large amounts of material, only shapes the internal thread
